Thanks to members of the Lowestoft Group of the Suffolk Family History Society, who have spent hours groping through the undergrowth in our churchyards, we also now hold a transcript of Headstone and church Memorial inscriptions for all our parishes:

Searches can be made by the Rector for any names in the records at the following authorised rates:

For searches in Registers of Marriage for the period before 1 July 1837, £18 for the first hour or part thereof, and £15 for every subsequent hour or part thereof.

For searches in Baptism or Burial Registers (including the provision of one copy of any entry therein) for the first hour or part thereof, £18. For every subsequent hour or part thereof, £15. For each additional copy of an entry in a Register of Baptism or Burial, £18.
